I just saw BBCs series of Shakespeare Re-told, specifically "The Taming of the Shrew" with Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter) as Kate and Rufus Sewell as Petruchio.

It. Was. Utterly. Magnificent. Love love love all over it.

It was so good I am seriously pondering starting over from the top and going all the way through it again.

That one was really good wasn't it! The others are not as good, but still enjoyable. They were shown in the UK about 2yrs ago

Very good.

Watched Macbeth as well - binmen as the three witches was a stroke of brilliance.

Also, I love Damian what's-his-face, that did Benedict for Much Ado. But Taming was miles better than either of those two.

I may be biased because Hero is the kind of character I despise. She did improve a little through the story, but still - I liked it more for Damian wossname as Benedick who went from slimy to gorgeous.

Yes, I've a thing for ginger men. I wanted to lick him in Band of Brothers :)
