So Ive been thinking about my Tudor Working Class outfit Would it be even remotely appropriate to make a doublet to go ontop of this or is that entirely the wrong look for it?

I was thinking that a reasonably sharp doublet could be put on for court occasions, with the proper sleeves and suchlike I mean. It would make it even more versatile at least.

I don't know though. I may just make another kirtle, side-back closing (both sides) which I can make sleeves for and which I can wear a doublet over.

I might in fact migrate out to the 16th century entirely. Though, knowing me once I catch sight of one of the goreous gothic fitted dresses I will want one of those again.

And I haven't given up on getting the bliaut thing down either - I want one of those! So there.

Yeah right, me settle for one period. It's laughable.
