I know I am posting often lately, but sometimes, that happens. Anyway, I was all enthused by the link posted by [livejournal.com profile] myladyswardrobe earlier today, of a project to embroider a Leyton jacket. On that blog they have documented a number of stitches and how to execute them and I set to work, created a little sampler just because it was enormously fun.

Here we are. Front and back. The fake gold was an absolute horror to work with. The worm was fun to do in ceylon stitch, and the braid stitch aka knot stitch curving line there was dead easy. It's just a matter of getting the stitches even - ever my problem.
