Sleeve halves

See how I've made progress with the sleeves. I pinned the life out of them, then I started with the folding down of 1.5 cm seam allowance all around. In the opening at the top of the sleeve I've left the silk to butt up to the edge, but at the sleevehead and at the back I've folded the wool over the silk-look-alike.

There's a bit of awkwardness toward the cuff where I need the silk to go over the wool for a nice unbroken circle of silk inside the wool at the cuff, but I think I managed it. There's also a close-up of the cuff in the gallery. All of a sudden I lost steam though. Don't know _exactly_ how to proceed, how to use thread to stitch it all down like this, don't know what thread to use. Black silk thread probably. Don't know if I want to topstitch all around the half-sleeves or not. Does anyone have suggestions for that?

A Bit Later: Inching forward, folded, pinned and pressed the other half of the sleeve in the pictures. Taking a break, maybe I will get both sleeves ready for sewing today. In that case I'll bring them on the plane.

A Bit Later Still: Well, w00t for me, I pinned and pressed the other sleeve too. Might even get some of the many many pins back into the pinbox today too!
