Again, a find on the 'net. Don't visit unless you have money to spend, because there is stuff in each department you'd want in your possession.

Pewter Replicas in the UK supplies "Canterbury Cathedral, Hampton Court, the Tower of London, English Heritage, the National Trust, Historic Scotland, Shakespeare's Globe, the Plimoth Plantation, film and television companies, countless museums, and re-enactors everywhere."

The prices are exceedingly reasonable and if I had any money at all to spare I would spend so much there. *drool, dribble*

Oddly enough most of our pewter comes from Steve. :)

I'm not in the least surprised - it's all Good Stuff (tm), looks the business, is researched and cheap!

Steve's stuff is absolutely exquisite - however, if one is making a garment which perhaps needs lots of the ouches then the garment does become extremely heavy because of the amount of pewter.

Why is it that, although this gentleman seems British and his wares are priced in pounds sterling, he is unable to spell "jewellery"?
Is it that he is afraid his American customers will be unable to translate from the English?
This really is very upsetting for a nerd like me :(

I dunno. I don't even reflect on that type of spelling variant. But I think it always reflects badly on the company to have errors and typos on their website. It shouldn't be too hard to have someone proofread the text before publishing. On personal sites this matters less, because I'm not going to give them money anyway :)

Althoug, look at it this way: you don't have to be a championship speller to produce gorgeous things with your hands.
