So I am again back in Uppsala. Getting geared up to start my thesis work. Have to meet up with my advisor within the company, and on thursday there's a kick-off/teambuilding thingy out in the Stockholm archipelago which I am looking forward too. I am however a little concerned about money to commute from Uppsala to Stockholm two days a week at least, and more to start with. But it'll work out no doubt.

I am also looking at pictures of 12th as well as 14th century clothes. I do like the look of the bliaut, but I also really like the look of the cotehardies. And the magic of making them self-supporting and such seems so much fun! Not to mention pretty. Must always like the clothes you wear, otherwise you don't feel your best. And when you're at a feast in these current middle ages you definatley want to feel your best!

The dresses I have now, although very nice are both of questionable materials as well, luckily that doesn't show up very much in darkness but if you feel them you can tell. I want to remedy that, but need to get materials first. Or possibly do mock-ups. But I am impatient - why do mock-ups when I can do a real run right away? (To make sure you don't make expensive mistakes in the real material, yes I know)
