Date: 2005-10-17 11:34 am (UTC)I'm pricing the Juan Alcega book online, but it's about £25 in the UK, rather than $25US. I'm searching for a cheaper used copy (just cause I'm cheap!).
Who is the photographer, do you know? I'm requesting permission to use a pic for the Thamesreach page.

Date: 2005-10-17 01:14 pm (UTC)As for the photos at the www.skauma.org site, it is Herr Erik Sternschildt (erik@skauma.org) I'm sure he'll be amenable to you using the photo you're after.

Date: 2005-10-18 07:39 pm (UTC)I'm on the camp of I'd rather go to many events than pay through the nose to go to a castle event. The surroundings help, yes, but I'm not that bothered by plastic chairs and a school canteen. At least that's my point of view now, having never been to an event in a castle. The magic lies in the people and attitudes rather than setting and background.
Now if someone could explain how I got onto that particular rant....
Anyway, even your lovely massages can't make 50 euros appear in my wallet :(
