Thank you :) As for when next - I don't know. I'm not planning on going to any events until Winter Games, which is in March or April, and I'm definately going to Double Wars next year.

I would love to come for Kingdom University, but can't :( I say you should have come up here for Crown!

Sadly, couldn't afford. Blah.

But certainly Double Wars next year. Coming down to Coronation? ;)

I'll offer massages....

Coronation in Germany? Way way too expensive for me as well :(

I'm on the camp of I'd rather go to many events than pay through the nose to go to a castle event. The surroundings help, yes, but I'm not that bothered by plastic chairs and a school canteen. At least that's my point of view now, having never been to an event in a castle. The magic lies in the people and attitudes rather than setting and background.

Now if someone could explain how I got onto that particular rant....

Anyway, even your lovely massages can't make 50 euros appear in my wallet :(

You should have come to Raglan :)

You both inspire me to 16th c. greatness. :-)

I'm pricing the Juan Alcega book online, but it's about £25 in the UK, rather than $25US. I'm searching for a cheaper used copy (just cause I'm cheap!).

Who is the photographer, do you know? I'm requesting permission to use a pic for the Thamesreach page.

Thank you :) I hope you find the book at the right price. I'm happy - so far - with using Helwig's copy, but she's a bit closer to me than to you.

As for the photos at the www.skauma.org site, it is Herr Erik Sternschildt (erik@skauma.org) I'm sure he'll be amenable to you using the photo you're after.

Hi. I came across your lj a couple of days ago - I found your posts interesting so added you. I never really expect reciprocation, but if my postings amuse I am happy to be befriended :)
