Argh

Livejournal was down all day yesterday just as I needed to vent. Bah humbug!
I consoled myself when I got home by watching the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring [Extended version]. Only the first half since my eyes were drooping by the time the fellowship reached Lothlorien. I then snuggled up under my covers and chuckled a bit to some Robin Williams soundclips I had downloaded before going to sleep.

Kung Fu

Kung Fu movies have it all. They are the greatest form of entertainment ever. There's love, hate, war, peace, philosophy, humor and the COOLEST fighting EVER. There simply is nothing missing from a good King Fu flick. Preferably from the seventies or so. When they got really huge. It's wicked good.

Just thought I'd say that.

What's immensly annoying is finding a good one, watching an hour and a half of it, to find that there is an error with the last fifteen minutes!!!!

Computer lock-up

I pushed on my computer a little, to get it further in on the table and guess what: It locked up! It would not respond to anything. So I tried the hold the button for a mongo-long time. It worked and the computer shut down. But then would not start up again even though I squeezed it a bit here and there, everywhere.

I don't know what the hell it wants me to do with it to un-freeze. It's trial and error and I haven't found the right spot yet. I expect I will learn this. It sucks that I would have to though. Oh well. When it works it works like a little charm.

Also, just thought I would share that the touchpad is a nice little thing, but extremely annoying since I always catch it with my palm. I have now covered it with a picture of Mark, taped down. I used my keycard at first, then I changed to his picture which is the same size (credit card sized) and taped it down. It exactly covers the touchpad and nothing else and there's no big edge that annys me underneath the palm either. Just perfect.

Event!

I just paid for my second event in Drachenwald! It's being organized by my group and is a sort of 'newbie' event. I even have my cloak finished for it! I finished it while watching the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring the other day. I just had to tack down the inside of the collar, sew on buttons to hold the armslits closed and add the clasp. I'm not entirely happy with the clasp though, since it is on crooked and is a bit difficult to close and open as it is. I think I put it on wrong, but it should be easy enough to adjust. Hopefully.
