So, wow!

Two people have now written me offering scans of Arnold for the doublet diary which is on hiatus. I'm just amazed. First of all, that people read my site, secondly that they'd write and offer help. People are nice!

People are nice, but, seeing as I went out and bought the book for myself when mother's order fell through, I actually have the book, but I don't want people rushing to help me when it's not really needed. I mean, it's very nice. I'm just floored by it, but it's not really needed. So, I shall be updating my pages to say this.

I added my measurements on the front page for my garb, as well as a little more for background.

Well, it's come to it at last, christmas holidays north with the family. I haven't packed anything yet, and I need to pack quite a bit. I've also got a list of chores that need to be done before I head for the airport. Luckily (or unfortunately) the flight is not until late tonight, I'll land in Frostheim (mundanely known as LuleƄ) at 23.50, so I have plenty of time in which to do this.

Of course, starting the day off by staying up til 4 am last night was not the cleverest things I ever did. Mudding can do that to me sometimes. Oh well, today, there are a lot of things to get done, and packing to do. Must also remember to put this audio-book on my mp3-player so I can listen to it on the plane.

Oh, right, break. Well, I leave for the north tonight and will not have regular net access for all christmas, so if you write me, there might be a delay in answering. This is basically the case until after twelfth night (not going to Coronation in Finland) when I am back in the lovely shire of Aros again.

So for all of you,

Happy Holidays:
Merry Christmas,
Happy New Year
and all the best for 2005!

Yay! I checked my mail-box today and there was a slip for me to pick up a package at the local store. I was mystified, the sender said "Germany" and I don't know all that many people in Germany. Well, going down to the store the mystery was resolved: It was my conciliatory birthday-book Dress Accessories 1150-1450 by Egan and Pritchard!!!

Wooooo hoooooooo! Yaaaaayy!

My problem now is: do I bring it with me north, or do I leave it here to return to? I don't know... I'm already bringing PoF wrapped up in paper that I can drool over. Plus my GFD, fully pinned together, is packed, the lining in my carry-on luggage, the shell in my checked bag.

*browses through the book* oooh, I just don't know!
