Bah, humbug!
2005-10-07 04:25 pmOldergoddess has let her LJ go; so sad.
I've not, in fact, finished the ropa. Hemming has got to be the most boring thing in the world - ever. The length of the ropa is excessive, like two handspans too long. There's definite pooling going on at floor-level and having to cut that off evenly requires wardrobe and knowledgeable assistance.
I have the wardrobe, but I had no knowledgeable assistance lately. Filippa was too busy to help me this week, which was a shame. I tried pinning up the lining just now, but I've no patience for it. No patience!
Hmm, I wonder what else I need to bring. I've got two trunks with my garb, and air mattress - I'm hoping to lend a pump to inflate it at the event. Otherwise... otherwise I'm going to get cranky. I suppose I could bring with me the self-inflatable one as a backup. There ought to be plenty of room after all. Two trunks, a few loose bedding items and my backpack. And a pillow.
Food items; I've got two pears. I haven't got a suitable water-bottle though. I've got two 2 litre coke bottles, but that gets heavy. I dunno. Might pick something up on the way - or once there. I usually bring raisins and almonds to snack on whilie waiting for feast as well, but
I just hope it'll be fun, lots of fun.
