Hurray - I'm off north!
2006-06-26 05:55 pmI'll be given a chance to earn some money - hurray. It will be in healthcare - sigh.
Still, money is good. Just think of the events I can attend. This will mean going north for the next month. Which will mean no sewing circles for me. And also that I need to bring with me all the sewing I want to be doing while up there. To that end, a list to ponder:
Maybe time to finish the scroll I still haven't finished *blush*.

- Gloves. Definately want to be bringing my glovepattern and leather.
- Chemise. I need more than one chemise for my 15th C wardrobe. So I will bring the white linen and my surcote pattern (that ought to be big enough but not too big).
- Gothic Army Dress? To finish oversewing the buttonholes? To visit the local LARP/SCA exhibit up there? I was first thinking about going to that event, but the more I looked into it, the more I realized it was not the event for me.
- The Green Brocade - Do I want to be doing that? Should I tackle this dress on my own? With no sewing circle to support me? I am a little sceptical. Besides that - I need quite a bit of foundation fabrics for it. Interlining etc for the bodice and lining for the whole shebang.
- Hose. Yeah, maybe I can finish them this year...
