A meta-post

I've been casting a beady eye on my use of tags. I like tags. Tags are pretty. Tags are useful. Tags make order in the inherently chaotic experience of LJ.

Oh, it's all too difficult. I'm caught in a dilemma.

Status

Head - full of grit.
Eyelids - made from cement.
Energy - barely enough to type.

At the scriptorium today - filled in whitework outlines, sketched in pencil two weeks ago, with a technical pen. Erased the pencil lines. Went home.

Pocket.

I want to add a pocket in my new spiffy fitted gown. So, after perking up with a cup of coffee, I made up a pocket. Now I am agonizing over how to attach it to the skirt and how to make up the skirt in order to get it in the right place, at the right layer, and accessible.

It's tricky.

I may turn to the bodice instead, fold in my seam allowances and ponder a row of picadils. Around neck, and down the front, and around the end of the sleeves. I thought this would be a nice uncomplicated project; it's getting so very involved now.
