Another shirt project
2008-12-01 07:15 pmAnother shirt project. Not for me this time, and with embroidered collar and cuffs. I think it might turn out quite fine. The body of the shirt is done with sleeves and gussets attached, hem done and decorative bits done.
Now I'm working on said embroidery, and it is going tolerably well - as long as the thread I have will last the distance. I think it should do... but I'm not sure. I will know how I stand on thread supply when I've done up the current plus two lengths, as that will be one quarter of the total thread. I started with the collar, so that will eat up most of it. I am however, a little sad because there is no way it will last me doing decorative stitches along the seams. But perhaps I can use another thread there.
Just have to have it finished in time. I am not going to let coughing fits, violent sneezes and leaking eyes stop me!
