I feel rather happy about this photo actually. Despite being unboned the support it gives is pretty ok. The armscye is also very large, so it is not restrictive in any way at all - this is a good thing.
A bit of the long-waistedness will disappear once I get the skirt overcast to the bottom of the bodice. I will get to work assembling the skirt on Saturday probably.
Oh, looking at the photo you can see some red thread - that's the basting stitches that keeps the lining on the inside. I'll be slipstitching that into place all around, except for the waistline, which will wait for skirt-mounting.
