A project to add to my to-do list
2007-01-10 02:36 pmI had brought with me some red wool up north to possibly do something with. Well, I did nothing and just now, as I was about to cut into it to make a carrying bag, one of those sort of triangular ones, I realized that: no. No, it does not need to become a bag.
This cut of wool (70 x 94 cm) needs to become one of those open hoods you see on all the GFD women!
Well, I feel all energised about it now - hurray! I was planning on borrowing the pattern that I know
helwig has got at home for this. I have made a hood before, but it is wildly over-sized and I like the small hood Helwig got out of her pattern. So there it is. Now I just need to stitch it up.

- Marie-Chantal's red hood. (With the long tail, which I might need to skip)

Date: 2007-01-14 02:29 pm (UTC)I'm all a-waffle, I know, I can't decide. It'll be lovely, I'm sure. I already have a hood with a neck and shoulder cover, this red one's just meant to be pretty, not warm like the big black one.
But then again, using the pattern off a hood you know fits is the simplest way to get it done, isn't it.
