liadethorneggeSo today, I took out my partlet pattern, and with the white linen I found that I had, I managed quite a lovely partlet with a smallish collar. It's quite a stylish addition to my wardrobe, if I can just figure out how to hold it closed nicely in the front.
I think I do need a brooch of some kind. Actually I need two - one for the linen partlet and one for the wool partlet of course. I think I really love this linen version though. It is lovely lovely, especially with the collar which is about three centimetres in the back. Very stylish. I did have a pin with a large pearly white head that I have consigned to that garment so I can hold it closed, but not hold it down in the front. I think I need to pin it down to the front of the dress as well to make it look completely lovely.
