Event report.

liadethorneggeThe weather was LOVELY, the people were fantastic, the food was excellent, the site was Very Good Indeed (except for the kitchen which could have used another stove), the fighters got sweaty, the classes held a very high standard, the excursion was a hit, the feast was delicious, the Prince and Princess held an extremely lovely, and short, court, the sun-roofs were just that sun-roofs not rain-shelters and I am appropriately exhausted even though the last to leave (me and event steward) left the site at 11.40 this morning.
My tudor working class outfit got a thorough testing out and it is perfect with two minor adjustments: cut the armscye open another centimetre in front and take up the hem a couple of centimetrers for completely unhindered walking. I love it love it love it. The only thing missing are sleeves for it and it will be perfect. Another want for it is a blackworked partlet to wear to more dressed occasions.
I'm tired and uncoherent and easily distracted right now though.. more later mebbe
