I have a project

It is only a little project, but still. I promised Ingrid I'd do a set of cuffs and collar embroidery for her new 16th century wardrobe.

It was not that long ago that she said she would never be making later period clothes than her current 14th century wardrobe, but then somebody got to her and I am a magnificent enabler of more Tudor fashions for the masses. So I thought it would be a brilliant idea to help her in this endeavour. My help will consist of advice, links, moral support and a few bits of embroidery. I call that a fair trade for more well-dressed tudors around.

So now I must decide what kind of embroidery, what technique, what materials.

Incidentally, who should I talk to about seeing the sights in Stockholm, if we manage to do a long weekend?

Dunno :) Nothing even remotely fixed. I want to see the Wasa, and of course, the royal armouries ;) But basically, we want to see you guys. So.... why don't we all try and work out a time to come play? :)

OK, with a little more information, this summer I am basically not going to be anywhere near Stockholm. I'm up north with my parents working right up until Visby.

This fall, I'm not sure what my schedule will be, but August and September are nice weather wise and I'll be down there in Uppsala, likely. Helwig, is, as far as I know, staying in Uppsala through the summer, with maybe two weeks in Gotland to visit parents and go to Visby Medieval week. After that School starts fairly quickly and she'll be working as usual.

We would of course love to meet up! You are not coming for the Aros rapier camp thingy (I know Gonz is)? But that's a weekend course, so would leave no time for visiting Stockholm I guess.
