Double Wars update

Heh, news from the Double Wars website - all beds for the full the week are booked. Wednesday opens the third bunk house and more beds for the last half of the event.

My train tickets are here, but I've not paid for the event yet.

And on my camicia I started the first narrow stripe of embroidery - whee! Four of the blooms and a straight line only so not very impressive but it's started.

Doh! But surely something can be arranged. They're booked for the second half at least? Perhaps they can sleep on the floor somewhere the first bit? Are they driving? Lot of people are camping as well, perhaps they might share a tent? Mundane tents are allowed, behind the houses, so one need not necessarily bring canvas.

Richard said he was probably going to camp, as they've already booked the ferry. They have tents and a period pavillion, they were just hoping not to have to bring it. Tom already has a bed booked at least, so one less tent to bring.
