Dentist update
2004-12-13 03:42 pmWell, I saw a nice lady who removed the filling in the problem-tooth and replaced it with a temporary cap. She fixed me up with a time in January for a proper new filling, but advised me that if the pain resumes after the anaesthesia wears off to call and get another emergency appointment for them to do root-work on the tooth.... And she did not promise me gold and green forests (Swedish expression: guld och gröna skogar), rather she warned me that the throbbing pain coupled with the tiny hole to the nerve she found were not good signs taken together. A tiny hole, no problem. A tiny hole and throbbing pain, probably a problem.
Sooo, in all likelyhood I'll be in pain again tonight and have to get a root canal. Good thing about this appointment was: No charge. Goodie.
