I absolutely called it, I got notions of knowing what I'm about, and when I set up the new extra selvedge ends and started weaving I broke three ends almost at once, ripped my paper tape measure off my work and generally made a mess of things.
So that was a bucket of cold water on my head.
I had not touched the warp for many days, and forgot to start by spraying it down with water, I was overconfident, and wanting to Get On With It, and ended up regretting it, of course.
Not too much damage done, though, I have plenty of warp left for a long veil still, and I can call these 20 cm an experiment and sampling. Again showing me why you Absolutely Must Do Sampling Before Starting An Actual Project On The Loom.
Emphasis added to remind myself.
