liadethorneggeI absolutely called it, I got notions of knowing what I'm about, and when I set up the new extra selvedge ends and started weaving I broke three ends almost at once, ripped my paper tape measure off my work and generally made a mess of things.
So that was a bucket of cold water on my head.
I had not touched the warp for many days, and forgot to start by spraying it down with water, I was overconfident, and wanting to Get On With It, and ended up regretting it, of course.
Not too much damage done, though, I have plenty of warp left for a long veil still, and I can call these 20 cm an experiment and sampling. Again showing me why you Absolutely Must Do Sampling Before Starting An Actual Project On The Loom.
