2005-04-19 05:38 pmI got my butt in gear and started sketching the border, enough so that I would know where to put the gold ground, and got to work. I took a picture of the still wet glue and uploaded two pics to the gallery as per usual. I have to obscure the recipient's name, but it won't be for long - it's due to be handed out at Double Wars which is only ELEVEN DAYS AWAY!
Not panicing, I can do it, yes I can. I can do it, yes I can.
Anyway, letting the glue dry, next step will be to lay down the gold, lay down another layer of gold (if my record is any judge that is). Then I can start sketching in the remaining details in the outer borders, and stat laying down foundation colours. Wherever it is red in the two first pictures is where the gold will be (except for the names of the Prince/Princess only initials will be gold there). So at a first glance it's going to be shiny!
And while waiting for glue to dry I've chugged along on my kirtle.
