I went by the "Hemslöjden" store today in town. It's not a big place, and she doesn't have alot of stuff that's not already fabricated. They sell cheese-platters, butter-knives and knitted doo-dads made by people and normally charge exorbitant prices for them. Last time I was there she had a small bowl of silk thread and I got a spool of green buttonhole silk and a spool of green sewing silk for 10 SKR each. It was awesome.
This time, I asked her about bobbin thread and she found a hank of 90/2 thickness, white linen. There is alot of thread in that hank, and when I asked for the price she said 30 SKR. There is easily twice as much as one spool bought in the store, which cost 42 SKR each. Another bargain!
Non SCA-shopping: a nice top, a couple of bras and nail varnish, very girly outing. I also had a nice fika with Elisabeth in the Linnaeus garden. The weather was way too nice to sit in an indoors café.
