You look really good in the doublet. And I liked the mi-parti c. 1300 dress that Ginna (I don't know who she is) wore. And that she correctly had loose hair under her veil.

Thank you. Although, I have no posture whatsoever as one of Lady Elin's pictures shows *blush* Unfortunate side-effect of wearing the doublet bodice dress all day is that my shoulders both hurt at the end of it. I have NO idea why. Wierdness.

Ginna's dress was lovely! And she was called up at court for her AoA as well so a dress well used :)

I also wish I could take pictures that look half as good as Elin's.

Aah, looks like you had a great time. Makes me long for our next event :) No need to apologise for your pictures either - you and Elin have slightly different styles to your photography; I get more "artistic", detailed impressions from her photos, while yours give more of a feeling of actually being there, a "presence" of sorts. So the combined result is pretty nice.

Did Padraig participate or was he just armoured up to be decorative? I'd have thought he would've had enough of the funny hat-wearing by now :)

There were lots of fighters there who got into armour for pick-up fights before and after the tournament itself. Padraig was there for the pick-ups. I heard him say that to fight in this tournament would mean himself and Elsa would reign during the winter again, which wouldn't be as fun as trying it in the summer. Not sure if that means they will fight in the spring Crown Tourney or not.
