liadethorneggeIn the mundane skirt project things have ground to a halt as I realized I got the wrong kind of zipper. I need the invisibly closing one, rather than a normal zipper. I meant to do it like the fly on the trouser-pattern I have, but once I started doing it that way I found it wouldn't work. It would look horrible in back. It ought to be smooth. So I'll have to go into town tomorrow and exchange zippers.
Bah.
Must also try to remember how I did the lining on the trousers. I messed it up rather badly on the trousers, my first attempt. But I think I have the right of it now, just as long as I get the circumference right so it'll sit right and not flop too losely or cinch me too tightly.
