I need to figure out how to make an increase that is the inverse of the flare of the sleeves in this pattern but I can't do it. Help?

ETA @ 3 am: So I worked out how to to do the increases, and that looks dandy, but on the second front panel of my partlet shaped body piece something, heavens knows what, possessed me to do an extra repeat of the four-row lace pattern. I have no idea why I thought this was a good idea, possibly it was the late hour and my mind half on the audio-book that did it.

I just cast off at the edge of the ribbing on that side and folded the piece against itself and I saw that one side was longer than the other - argh. I'm not sure if I'll rip it up and do it over tomorrow - but I probably will. Time just flew while I was zoning out to the knitting too. Very absorbing. Now I'm zonking off to sleep.

I usually just stitch twice in one stitch before pulling the loop of the old needle. That's probably as clear as mud, though.
