Hilarity... the drive home after The Christmas Dinner and gift-giving thingy... I'm driving rather cautiously, on account of the heavy snow and mad winds on somewhat poorly ploughed roads. It takes the usual amount of time, about 35 minutes to get from where we drop off my younger brother to the small, short, private road that goes from the village road to my parents house. I see blocking the road drifts of snow 30-40 cm high so I stop. My mom calls me a chicken and we exchange seats so she gets to drive. She attempts to force the car through the drifts.

Hilarity ensues.

We sit there stuck for another 35 minutes waiting for
  1. dad to jog to the house,
  2. throw off his party clothes,
  3. tear on some working clothes,
  4. get the cute little red tractor out
  5. him to clear the road ahead of us,
  6. the trip back to the house for a tow-rope
  7. the tractor to pull us free, free, free at last!
Hilarity, I tell you, hilarity! These are the things good memories are made of :)

You want to send some of that snow my way? That's not fair. 30-40 cm!

We saw no snow in Salt Lake City where we celebrated Christmas. Now we are back in sunny Las Vegas and ready to go shopping.
I was almost disappointed by the lack of snow... but obviously you got more than my share :)
Good thing your father is also a tractor owner!
Merry Christmas//

I love the snow! It was just a bit inconvenient to get stuck in it. And yes, it is a good thing he's a tractor owner :)

God fortsättning!

*hugs*
