Disaster in the pants department

liadethorneggeSo I finished the braies at the sewing circle today. Then I tried them on. My thighs protested, and then I gave them to Helwig where they found their home.
Back to the drawing board to make myself another pair that will fit. Oh well :) It didn't take very long.
The surcote lining kirtle is now also prepared for me to hem it, Helwig kindly marked the ground so all I have to do is cut it down and turn up a nice hem. Should be no problem to finish before Civil War.
A pic or two might be forthcoming.
