Further updates
2006-09-21 09:30 pmAfter washing and ironing my fabric last night I cut out a new pair of braies. Slightly larger, with a slightly longer waist. At this point I only have to stitch down a waistline for a drawstring closing. I don't want to leave a fly down the front for a button closure, so drawstring it is. In all, there's about 15 mins left on them and I'll have a pair of braies.
On the partlet front I bought a cheap tiny lace to put on the ruff edge and front closure. It's pretty but understated and will be just the right touch. As for that project I just have to do whatever embroidery I want on my collar, stitch on the lace on the ruff edge and then add the collar and ruff to the partlet. I've got the neckline gathered already and the inside of the collar stitched on to keep it there. Some sort of closing is also needed I suppose.
