Stupid braies. I tried to get going on them, I unpicked the rest of the leg seams, pressed them open even. So now I have a skirt on a drawstring waistband. If I close the two halves up I get a pair of braies that are too small. If I cut out new pieces to fit in there I have to go to some wierd acrobatics and I just want to vomit all over the entire project now.

Misery and whining continues apace. I can't even use them now as a pair of crotchless underpants as linuxwitch did with hers. I got going on them because I had a mad energy bubbling over, but nowhere to stick it. So, ripped the seams, pressed them open and then promptly got stuck. Tea didn't even help. Nor coffee. Actually the coffee might have been a hinderance rather than help.

Just: AAAAAARRRGHHH!! to all sewing right now.

Well, we have pretty much everything you guys do to drink. They're just more expensive and you have to go to the one government owned store who sells them.

As for preference, I think whisky might be my choice. Unfortunately I've got nothing strong on hand at home.
