Also, I finished the second mutton-chop sleeve enough to stitch it into the English fitted gown, and though the general idea and shape is nice, they are still too big. They are huge echoing cavern into which I can fit my arms, plus a bagful of waddle. I am not happy. And I did not take a photo.

I -want- them to be nice but I don't know how to fix it. It seems an impossible task. Nonesuch Lady 1 has some room left in her sleeves, but they are skintight compared to mine. *whine*

My first sleeves for the Anthonis Mor (http://web.comhem.se/~u41200125/diary2.html) dress had that problem. I took them apart and remade them after the pattern in the Tudor Tailor, including the boning placement. I don't have a photo of the remade sleeves, but they look much better now.

Hmm. Well, I promised myself I wouldn't cheat on these sleeves, so I think I will have to do some frogging. After looking at TTT I'm sure I can use the sleeves I have already cut out, just alter them a little. Thanks.

Here's hoping, anyway.
