Frustrating

Got this message over the Authentic_SCA list. Some guy's put together a book of hours for the use of the re-enactors of today. Text in English. Calendar and all that. And he's put it out on this self-publishing site called Lulu.

Now, I think that is about as spiff as it gets, and I applaud the effort, only when I follow said link I get nothing, nothing at all. There are some lulu-titles, linkes to sections of the site, and the titlebar prints out the lovely title, but for content? Nothing. Nada. Zero output.

So, I'm frustrated.

What browser are you using? It comes up OK with SeaMonkey (aka Mozilla)

I'm running Firefox 1.5.0.9 I tried it with IE too, but still I get nothing :(

I'll have the child check it tonight with Firefox. Were you going to do the download or buy a hard copy of the book?

If all else fails, contact the fellow that did the book and let him know -- you might want to do that anyway -- it could be a web problem on his end.

I was looking to do the download.

But the site, Lulu, publishes loads of stuff. It's a business model that enables authors to send in their manuscripts and then readers purchase the books in a print-on-demand system.

Although, if I am being honest, I most just wanted to check it out, probablyy wouldn't have bought it. If I want to add that to my kit I think I'd like to do it myself as a girdle-book, as a long-term project. Just to learn about all the stuff that you need to know.
