Currently stalled out on sewing project progress.

I took a few days to read Crucial Conversations by Patterson, Grenny, McMillan & Switzler. It talks about what to look out for, and how to avoid devolving into arguments that lead nowhere, and get back to a dialogue to find common ground and lead to a better life.

How to have crucial conversations when emotions are high, that lead to somewhere better - this is applicable in every situation when you are in contact with other humans, and it gives some tangible tools to use, and strategies to adopt to get somewhere.

Having just finished it, I think everyone can get some real use out of it.

How do you react when you are stressed or strongly engaged in a topic? How can you create safety so everyon can stay engaged? How can you work towards a common purpose and goal.

I found it on Bokus in Sweden, but it seems to be widely available everywhere.
