Upon finding a link on one of my mailing lists to the same site from which I took my last name (de Thornegge) I discovered that it was much more than just a list of mayors and chamberlains. On the site I found a will from the widow of John de Thornegge, her name was Joan, who was my original inspiration. They lived in Bishop's Lynn but the family originally came from a town called Thornage in Norfolk not far from Lynn.

Bit of a long explanation up there just to say that I wrote together a little page on the documentation for my name and put it online.
