It hurts my eyes and makes me cranky - this is our documentation of important events.
But I suppose Drachenwald as a whole has prioritised this aspect as very low on a scale, because flash fotography at court is forbidden in Kingdom Law. Possibly even in Nordmark's Principality law - I can't recall. So if you weren't there experiencing it in the bad light, you're s--o-l. I'm divided if I think that laudable or not, but my first reaction is to frown.

Date: 2007-02-06 09:37 pm (UTC)If people would just not bother with posting such poor quality pictures I would not have anything to whine about, though. So, in essence, what I'm complaining about are bad pictures.
I've noticed that I take less and less photos at events, and the reason for that being I'd rather be present, in the moment, than add a layer of insulation between me and the experience.
So, go ahead and debate if you'd like :)
