I just paid for my second event in Drachenwald! It's being organized by my group and is a sort of 'newbie' event. I even have my cloak finished for it! I finished it while watching the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring the other day. I just had to tack down the inside of the collar, sew on buttons to hold the armslits closed and add the clasp. I'm not entirely happy with the clasp though, since it is on crooked and is a bit difficult to close and open as it is. I think I put it on wrong, but it should be easy enough to adjust. Hopefully.

Thumbs UP! Wahooo!

see watching movies is a good thing, :-). Have fun, Ithra is on Saturday (today is Friday) and I have a class in story telling. You will look fabulous in your new cloak. Have fun and no more freezing :-).

Ithra is courses as in classes about SCA things. The one this time is on Dance and Music. There is one later this year at War College on herbal meds I want very much to take, (please :-). I am taking story telling and music history. Last year I took them on medieval encampments. So interesting and then they had court afterwards and Lynda got her AOA. I wanted to take everything, but I am glad I didn't my body wants sleep and rest, grin, good luck to my body. I am working on my black and blue wool jacket right now. I am so pleased and excited :D.

Well, no we don't. But the group is officially a study circle so the group does get some money for it. Which is nice. It's basically the weekly meeting and a chance to chat and have some tea and cakes together. Not that everyone comes to it. We have averaged three or four people in the fall. We're up to five or more this term though, which is nice :)

sorry I should not tease when you are so far away, we have what you have, but we call it newcomers night. We discuss how to do things, sometimes people bring their projects to work on. Its fun. Take care and have a great weekend.
